It’s Mooncake Festival!

Mooncakes, mooncakes! One mooncake for everybody! Hurry hurry! 
Okay. For those of you who are still clueless about this whole “mooncake” thing, let us tell you. The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming!
The Mid-Autumn festival, known as a time for friends & family reunions, is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month of the Chinese calendar. On that night, the moon appears to be at its roundest and brightest, and families will be seen at scenic spots and parks, lighting lanterns and eating mooncakes in the cool night air besides praying for a safe year ahead.
During this time, mooncakes are eaten throughout the month before the actual festival day, which is why it is also known as the Mooncake Festival. Therefore, Exabytes would like to take part in this joyous event and wish all of you, a very Happy Mooncake festival!

Holy Ramadhan

“When the month of Ramadhan starts, the gates of the Kingdom of Heavens are opened.” – Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The most eagerly awaited month in Islamic calendar is here – Ramadan Mubarak.
Ramadhan is a holy month where Muslims are able to practice self-discipline and prepare themselves for any suffering that they may have to face, by fasting all day, from dawn till sunset. It is a way to made aware of what it is like to feel hungry and a spiritual training way of submitting oneself to God’s will.
It is a time for contemplation, spiritual growth and brotherhood bond. It is a time where Muslims from all over the world unite, and seen thronging the mosques, thriving for the same goal – seeking for the Almighty’s forgiveness and blessings that He has promised.
To all Muslims, Exabytes wishes you a blessed Ramadhan and a month full of grace, peace and patience.

New Office Updates!

Just a short update on the progress of our new office!
Last few days our designer, Vickson went to our new office which is still under construction and it seems that the wall partitions for some areas of the office are now up! Ok, maybe not completely up yet lah. But it’s coming along! Look! 
As you can see, they use thick soundproofing foam to absorb sound and reduce echoes in some particular areas of our new office soon. This comes especially handy when we want to kick back and relax in our private Lounge Room, playing Nintendo games or just jamming to our favorite music! Sounds neat, huh? Jangan jealous! (don’t be jealous!) Hehe.
Oh oh, and before we forget! Vickson also found some interesting items to be auctioned while he was there, for all you Exabytes fans out there! We know how much we are *coughs* loved and how you have always wanted to have a piece of us *coughs coughs*. So now you can!
Okay. We will start the bidding at RM1.00. Okay fine, RM0.50 lah.
Going once, going twice. . . No, seriously. Anyone?

July 2008 is the final month of the First Season of Employee of The Month. As the first season wraps up, guess who is the final month’s winner? It’s a fabulous result and very amazing indeed. The first month winner is also the final month winner. Seems like our “Knight In Shining Armour” has done it again!
KM Chow – A name that has frequently appeared in clients’ testimonials is for sure the superstar in Exabytes. His patience in handling clients and a lot more other admirable traits have no doubt earned him another round of reserved car park slot and he is now richer by RM 500.
